How to Save Discord Images as JPG
Discord often saves images in WebP format, which isn’t compatible with all applications. Here’s how to save them as JPG instead.
Method 1: Browser Extension
- Install “Save image as Type” browser extension
- Right-click on Discord image
- Select “Save image as JPG”
- Choose save location
Method 2: Copy and Paste to Image Editor
- Right-click image in Discord
- Select “Copy Image”
- Open Paint, GIMP, or Photoshop
- Paste the image (Ctrl+V)
- Save as JPG format
Method 3: Online Converter
- Right-click and save image as WebP
- Visit online WebP to JPG converter
- Upload the WebP file
- Download converted JPG
Method 4: Direct URL Modification
- Right-click image and copy link
- Remove “?width=X&height=Y” from URL
- Replace “.webp” with “.jpg” in URL
- Open modified URL in new tab
- Right-click and save as JPG
