Agreement to Terms
By inviting Auto Role Bot to your Discord server or using its commands, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.
Description of Service
Auto Role Bot provides role automation and management features for Discord servers:
- Automatic role assignment on join, tag adoption, role connections, and membership duration
- Reaction roles for self-service role selection
- Temporary roles with automatic expiration
- Custom personalized roles for VIP members
- Custom private channels for VIP members
- Bulk role management with filtering
The Bot is provided free of charge.
Acceptable Use
You agree to comply with:
- Discord’s Terms of Service
- Discord’s Community Guidelines
- All applicable laws
Prohibited Uses
- Exploit, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Bot’s systems
- Overwhelm services with automated requests or spam
- Use role assignment features for harassment or discrimination
- Circumvent rate limiting or abuse bulk operations
- Resell or commercialize features or data from the Bot
User Responsibilities
Server Administrators
- Ensure the Bot’s role is positioned correctly in the role hierarchy
- Configure appropriate features for your server’s needs
- Monitor bulk operations to avoid unintended changes
All Users
- Use commands appropriately without spamming
- Report bugs or vulnerabilities responsibly
- Do not abuse custom role/channel features
Privacy
Review our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and use.
- We do not collect message content
- User data is automatically cleaned up when members leave
- Data is not sold or shared
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE BOT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service. Role operations depend on Discord API availability and rate limits.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Service interruption or cessation
- Unintended role changes from misconfiguration
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Bot operators from claims arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Bot
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your violation of applicable laws
Termination
We may:
- Terminate or suspend access at any time without notice
- Remove the Bot from servers violating these Terms
- Block abusive users or servers
- Discontinue the Bot at our discretion
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
Severability
If any provision is unenforceable, it shall be limited to the minimum extent necessary. Remaining provisions stay in effect.
