Agreement to Terms
By inviting Level Bot to your Discord server or using its commands, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.
Description of Service
Level Bot provides leveling, reputation, and engagement features for Discord servers:
- XP-based leveling system with configurable settings
- Automatic role assignment based on levels, leaderboard position, or statistics
- Message and reaction activity tracking
- Message-based reputation system
- Customizable announcements for level-ups and rank-ups
- Server leaderboard and user statistics
The Bot is provided free of charge.
Acceptable Use
You agree to comply with:
Prohibited Uses
- Harass, stalk, or monitor individuals without consent
- Exploit, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Bot's systems
- Overwhelm services with automated requests or spam
- Manipulate XP, levels, or reputation through abuse or exploits
- Use the Bot's features for discrimination or harmful purposes
- Resell or commercialize data obtained from the Bot
User Responsibilities
Server Administrators
- Inform members that leveling and reputation tracking is enabled
- Ensure tracking complies with your rules and applicable laws
- Configure appropriate channel and role exclusions
- Respect members' opt-out preferences
All Users
- Use commands appropriately without spamming
- Report bugs or vulnerabilities responsibly
- Do not circumvent opt-out or cooldown mechanisms
Privacy
Review our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and use.
- Leveling is enabled by default but can be disabled
- Reputation requires explicit admin setup
- Users can opt out via
/opt-out
- We do not collect message content
- Data is not sold or shared
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE BOT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF DATA
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service. XP, levels, ranks, and statistics are for entertainment purposes and may contain inaccuracies.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Service interruption or cessation
- Third-party conduct or content
- Loss of XP, levels, ranks, or reputation data
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Bot operators from claims arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Bot
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your violation of applicable laws
Termination
We may:
- Terminate or suspend access at any time without notice
- Remove the Bot from servers violating these Terms
- Block abusive users
- Discontinue the Bot at our discretion
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
Severability
If any provision is unenforceable, it shall be limited to the minimum extent necessary. Remaining provisions stay in effect.
